Sewa - to serve others : I have been very lucky indeed to have had the privilege from a small child to have been involved with two of the most prominent Sikh Gurdwara's (Temples) in India, Gurdwara Karamsar (Rara Sahib) and Gurdwara Nanaksar (Jagroan) both in the state of Ludhiana. These two temple's were founded by the greatest Sikh Saints of the 20th century and this gallery has pictures of some of the prominent teachers that have come to the UK in recent years from these Gurdwara's . I do regret that I never really got interested in photography in a serious way when I was a teenager - from memory there were many many special occasion's when members of either Jatha's came to the UK and those moments never captured on film (video yes) or in my case captured rather badly.

I'm hoping that I may get a chance to see his holiness the Dali Lama when he next's visits the UK and it would be a real privilege to take his picture.
